How do YOU organize your travels?

I agree with Glenn about the difficulty of relying on a campground directory's ratings. In addition to the valuable information on this forum, one resource we use is a web site:

It has a US map with many (although not all) RV parks denoted. It also includes links for most of those campgrounds to the campground web site, to RV.Net campground reviews, and to campgroundreviews.com. It is an easy-to-use planning tool.

We have never kept any kind of log or record of where we have been or what C.G's we have stayed at. When Helen retires in a couple of months she says we will hang a map on the wall, throw a sticky dart at it and that is where we will go. Sounds good to me..We do have plenty of pictures and we are transfering the older ones to disc.Maybe the kids will not throw those out when they are clearing out our stuff some day.
