Question Wiper seal beneath slide out

Has anyone replace this seal? Dealer says it is a bit complicated. It looks like it is part of a metal flange thing that is about 1 - 1 1/2 inches wide. Dealer mentioned you have to take several things off.
I have done top and side seals before but never underneath.
Help!

On our 2010 that was originally a glue backed seal held on at each end with a screw. When i noticed it, it was hanging down still only attached by the two screws. I reattached it 3M automotive tape and it stayed on for several years until we traded.

Unfortunately mine was hanging from one end and I cut it off. Thought it was doing ok but noticed another 3 feet hanging down. I may just leave it off, since it seems it only is used to keep out bugs or something. When the slide is in and traveling down the road, the bulb seals should keep things dry.

. Try looking up Steele rubber products. They have videos on how to order and replace the rubber seals. We just bought a 2004 297 RKS to use on our Vacation property and to tow around and use in Genral. I am going to replace all the slide out seals. I will post the results.
