Power panel fan cycling
Hi all. We have a 2019 3931FB. We’ve owned it for over a year with no electrical problems. Starting tonight The power panel fan began cycling every few minutes. I opened the panel (At the bottom of the stairs) and there is a flashing green light. I can feel warm air coming from the top of the louvre vents. Since this is the first time the fan has cycled I’m not sure this is normal. Also, since we’re on the road I’m hoping the group can provide me some direction on what to do. Thanks BTW, I’m plugged into shore power.

That fan cools the converter when it is producing 12 volt power to charge your batteries. Prior to replacing all the interior incandescent light bulbs with LED bulbs years ago, we could turn on most of the lights and the fan would turn on almost immediately. As long as the fan turns off at times, you are probably OK. You might have a lot of 12 volt load causing a drain on the batteries

Agree with rohrman. There is a chance your battery needs some service. Might check water levels, post corrasion, and cable tightness. Also a chance even though the battery is relatively new it could just be going bad.

Good it’s just cooling itself. Working as designed.

Ours in the class C started doing that and I found I had 1 bad battery.
Replaced both and problems solved.

The flashing green light is the Progressive Dynamics Charge Wizard status indicator. Solid green boost mode (14.2vdc). 1 sec blink standard mode (13.8vdc). 1 blink every 6-8 sec standby mode.

On our 2020 3931FB, the cooling fan most often catches my attention by cycling on frequently when we are using the indirect led accent lights. That's nearly 80 feet of led light strip so there may be a draw on the batteries sufficient to require the converter to charge more?
I suppose the bathroom fans draw a lot of 12v current too but I don't notice the converter fan because of their noise and then there is the noise from the air conditioners.
Our batteries have only been in service 5 months so I haven't checked them yet however i do realize that I should be checking them frequently but not a fan of the battery box design, those extra cable connections are a hassle.

As mentioned above there is a listing of what the green blinks mean I think it is in the owners manual for the device.
