In Huachaca we highly recommend Tombstone Territories RV Park. Situated on Hwy 82 in "Gods Country" all the sites are pull throughs, very clean, quiet and every Friday John (the owner) hosts his famous "hoot-en-any". We stay there every February for several days on our way from the Texas Valley to Tucson.
In Mesa we have stayed at Good Life RV Resort. Large, clean, friendly park with lots of stuff goin' on for the winter Arizonans.
Both of these parks are PassPort America which makes for a very reasonably priced stay.

Apache Wells in Mesa was very nice and is a Passport America park. They are part of the Cal-Am goup of parks. We spent 10 days there last April. Mesa has one huge flea market that you could spend days in.

Benson has several nice parks but if you are a member of the Escapee's, you can't beat the Escapee Co-op called Saguaro.
I agree with Vickster in Huachaca City.

Phil,
You forgot to put the "Montana Circle at Quartzsite" into your January itinerary.

We spend the winter (5 months) at The Resort, 1101 S. Ellsworth Rd. Small by Mesa standards, but very well maintained with wide streets and lots of activities if so inclined.

We're in the SKP park Adelmoll mentioned as I write this. It's definitely the best in the area from what we've seen. This one is the farthest from the trains and some are pretty darn close. We only occasionally hear the trains, when the tv and other noisemakers are off and then only occasionally.
If they don't have a site for you, you can park on the paved no hookup sites while you wait. $5/night. We got right into a monthly site on 12/14. The only drawback here is you have to have mail sent to general delivery. The P.O. is only 3 miles away, though. And ups, fedex, dhl all deliver to your site.

Phil & Cathy,
We stayed at Lake Pleasant which is Northwest of where you are now. We stayed in the regional campground there, but found the boondocking near the boat ramp to be wonderful, quiet, secluded and inexpensive.
Let us know if you are interested, we can give you better directions and information.
