Can't get you all the way, BUT stay off I-65 if at all possible. We have traveled from Indy to Tenn on it and it has to be the roughest highway we have ever been on!

Take I24 out of Chatt to I57 north of Paducah KY, then N on I57 to Mt Vernon to I64 into St Louis, Get I70 to I29N in KC. Take this north to Hwy 2 @ Nebraska City. Go west to Lincoln then pick up I80 W. to Rock Springs Wy. Take Hwy 191 N to Pinedale, Hoback, and on into Jackson. I'm looking at going around St Louis this year, from Paducah cross county to Hwy 55N to the 255 bypass west. Hope this helps. Its not scenic but its fast.
