Full disclosure: If Keystone denies a claim because an Anderson hitch is involved Anderson says they will pick up the claim. See below:

Expanded Warranty

If your active trailer warranty from a trailer-frame manufacturer is denied due to the use of an Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection (Rail Mount or Gooseneck Mount), you are eligible for coverage under our expanded warranty.
Warranty Summary:
  • Covers damage to the trailer-frame and/or kingpin
  • Claims should be submitted to our Customer Service Department at: customerservice@anderseninc.com
  • During the claim process, be sure to include a written denial from the trailer-frame manufacturer regarding your active warranty, a copy of your warranty, & proof of purchase
I wonder if this has ever been used?

How in the world are you going to claim the frame was damaged do to the Anderson, or any other hitch for that matter, when so many people have suffered frame damage while using a wide variety of hitches? I think the simple answer to cracked frames is a combination of poor frame engineering, rough roads, and improper backing techniques.

The fact is you will void your Keystone warranty. Anderson is not going to fix you frame due to a Keystone issue. That's the reason I didn't get one.

I agree with the above. If the Andersen statement said it would cover frame failure without regard to the cause, then it would be good. But the "you are eligible for coverage" statement leaves the door open to them claiming the damage was due to poor construction techniques and frame design. Eligible doesn't mean guaranteed.
