Add 2 12V Fans
I’m looking to add two more 12v fans at the back of our Norcold frig to help keep the coils cooler, can I tap into the same 12v supply the existing 2 are pulling from. My thinking is if I can they will turn on and go off as the existing do.

I have two additional fans, but they are controlled by the ARP device, which also protects the fridge from over heating if it if out of level or just gets too hot if the heat of the sun is too much. www.arprv.com

We also use the ARP Fridge Defender. There is a fan at the bottom drawing in air and the top exhausting air. These fans are mounted on the inside of the Lou res top and bottom.

This is the first I've heard of this. Is this really a thing in 2022? Should I be concerned?

Foldbak, it is if you have an RV fridge. Disregard if you have a residential fridge. The RV fridges use an ammonia based refrigerant. More air flow makes them more efficient and the ARP is designed to shut the fridge off if it gets to the boiling point. Most RV fires are traced back to the RV fridge. They are especially prone to overheating when not level (think grades in the mountains). The ARP monitors the boiler temp and shuts it down if it gets too hot then restarts it. Many of us old timers have them and most newbies don’t know about it.

I have two fans as you described, they come on at a preset temp from some sort of thermostat some where.
