washer and dryer update

well I dropped off my 2018 3920 at CW for them to install the washer and dryer. I got a call today an update on the install and other warranty items. I guess they had to run a new drain and new water lines, none of it was properly done at the factory. WTH

what would happen if I decided to install myself taking for granted everything was installed correctly And I went to use the washer and flooded my coach.. who pays for that... I have had my 3920 for 6 months and CW has had it a total of 3 months. Im not so sure about the build quality and I think this will be my last Keytone product....im not impressed...frustrated.

Our 2010 and 2015 washer/dryer connections were correct. Before I installed, myself, I checked hot/cold lines and drain and all was correct. Both units. Vent decal in closet was not accurate on the 2015 but not an issue. Have never heard of anyone having to have drain and water lines redone because of production screwups. CW had for three months???

YUP CW had for 3 months fixing warranty issues darn thing was falling apart on the 1000 mile drive home. I was stunned when I was told what they had to do to get the W/D installed.

I just dropped it off for the install of the W/D so they are on schedule for completion but yeah first time I Brough it in was a total of 3 months

I think you got a first. Or CW didn’t know what they were doing. Never heard of that before.

Might be CW just doesn't understand Keystone, since some washer drains go into the Black tank, some the Gray tank, and others directly to the main dump line. Our '10 was that way, so no using it without full hook-ups.

Good point. I’ll find out when I pick up. My understand is that the W/D drain into the 2nd black tank along with the 2nd bathroom. Great now I hope they didn’t screw anything up I need a beer.....

Draining into a black tank would be the last thing I would want. Sure glad my two rig hookups were not like that. Mine drain to gray, and I leave open.

We have 3920FB and our washer drains into 1/2 bath black tank. I was at first frustrated but what can you do. Now I look at that as long as you remember to open tank your black tank is going to get a great flush with soapy water. Everything is working fine for us and we couldn't be happier with the 3920FB.

A new Outback in my storage facility had to have Washer drain changed or should say installed. A mobile tech refused when he saw the trouble and CW did the install under warranty. Took 19 days. Well, the plumbing was under warranty so they did the install to check their work for leaks. He has a combo. A different CW installed my separate W/D in just 2 1/2 hours while I waited. Tech said he spent 15 minutes making certain the dryer decal was where it was supposed to be and he said it was perfect! Factory plumbing was good and into the bath gray tank. Wife will never do a combo again!
