Lowe's has a bag of something in the garden dept. that replaced Diazone for ants. Looks like coffee grounds. Put it around on ground near tires and jacks and elect cord and the ants take it back to the nest. GooooD stuff.

Bon Ami, Comet, etc. work very well. Sprinkle some around any grounded part of the trailer ... tires, cables, jacks, etc.

If you already have them in your rig, one of the best solutions is ant bait, it contains borax which is a slow acting poison that they will take back to the nest and it kills the queen and the colony. Just make sure to let the ants feed on the liquid and let them take it back to the colony.

We had a problem with ants and we fought them until we traded the previous Monty for the one we have now. Be sure and check for leaks, we had problems with moisture and I believe that had a lot to do with attracting them.

If they are inside go to Walmart and get a little bottle of Terro. Look for the little ant hwy and place a drop in their way. Then watch them gather around the drop like pigs to a trough. The ant doomsday just hit them. They will take their kool aid back to the mound and they all die, guarantee........

My semi-permanent site is sitting on top of an ant farm, and thus far no ants inside. As a preventative measure, I spray the jacks, around tires, stabilizers, hoses, and electrical cord with Spectracide weekly. I did the same when I was moving from place to place. Before I started doing this, I did have a problem a year or so ago. I set off two Raid bombs, the kind you activate with water. Killed the little buggers overnight. It's not something you can do and still stay in the unit. It needs a thorough airing out after. They are tenacious little buggers.
