Kitchen Sink Dingy

This weekend while camping, I noticed a ding in the inside of the large kitchen sink! I is very tiny but feels like it is a small hole. I never noticed this before. I have a plastic mat in the bottom, but I dont think you can get anything for the sides? I really am careful about clanking the dishes around while washing them too. I can't beleive this would not be durable. Maybe it was there to when purchased but I cannot say for sure. Any suggestions anyone?

Oh, dear, you have the same year and model that we do so I assume you have the fiberglass sinks. I bet they have some kind of compound you can get to fill it. If you can't get information from your dealer try a body shop.

We use a dishpan in the sink to wash the dishes.

Campbud,
I know they make a repair kit for a bath tub, I think I saw it at Menards. I'm sure it can be repaired. Did you mention it to the dealer? It might be under warranty or if not they might have a fix. I think the dish pan is a good idea also.

In case you have one of those plastic basins from the hospital--they are a perfect size for my sink. May as well use it as I am sure you paid a lot for it.

Campbud….. there is a repair kit available from Montana. Our 3400RL had a scratch in the counter top when delivered. The dealer called Montana and was shipped a kit to fill / repair the scratch. I have not taken the coach back to have the repair done so I can not share any thing more.

We don't do anything special with ours and we wash dishes in the sink as well as store dirty ones there until ready to wash. I don't know whether the hole you describe goes through so that it leaks or if the damage is anything more than cosmetic. Since yours is a 2005 and still under warranty, I'd recommend you show this to your dealer and see if a replacement is warranted.
