Tail Lights

Has anyone “upgraded” older tail lights to the newer LED style? My 2018 3130 RE has the crappy generic type. I like the newer style seen on newer units and wonder if I can order them. Thanks

I haven't done it yet but it should be a straight swap out. I assume you're talking about a complete light fixture replacement? That's what I plan to do. Although I think it's possible to just replace the bulbs with LED. They are all 12v lights so just unwire the old and wire up the new

That’s is what I figured. Straight swap.
Just need to find them.

The keeper rings on my tail lights are rusty brown. They might have been black when it was new. I would like to replace mine - but I think I will wait until jsb5717 figures it out for a 2018 model first then I will coast on his coat tails.

Jeff I’m counting on you to get it all figured out, take pics and post blow by blow instructions! I seem to remember that there were several threads on this subject when I first joined up.

Replaced ours on our 2017 several years ago. Bought new ones at an RV store and just swapped them out. Took a couple of trys on the wiring since Keystone didn't wire them both using the same colors for the same things. Once I tried a couple of combinations it was easy.
