Talking What should we expect? (Rally)

We are new 5th wheel owners and we're so excited for the rally this fall! What can we expect for the rally, and what should/could we plan for? We have so many questions (solar, batteries, decor, storage, etc) is this the event for learning or is it mostly meet and greet stuff? Also are there services offered that we should sign up for? Will there be options for warranty or recall work? Does everyone spend the entire week there or are there things we should go see and do in Elkhart? SO. MANY. QUESTIONS.

Thanks everyone!

We have been to one, I'm there more for the educational, I never realized how little I knew about these units. With the factory reps from all the MFG its a great learning environment. We are going again this year, My main reason is to learn even more.
of course we meet some great people and the social is all good but the education cant be beat.

A little bit of everything. Have a look in the Forums under previous rallies.

Here are two agendas from the last (2019) rally. Take a look and see what things are usually scheduled.

It's a working rally that is full of Keystone information, vendor information, roundtable discussions, seminars on all sorts of topics, the opportunity to make lifelong friends, and so much more. You won't be able to absorb it all the first time but that is why we hold the rally every year. Keep checking the forum for events you need to sign up for. Looking forward to meeting you.

If my math is correct, this is the 17th rally in Goshen, and we have been to them all. As with anything in life, you will get out of it what you put into it. If you introduce yourself to people, sign up to help with events and attend the seminars you will come away with a great deal of information on your Montana as well as maintenance, modifications and travel along with a lot of new friends. Every year, we have one or two people that complain that they didn’t get anything out of the rally and people weren’t friendly. Those are the people that didn’t come out of their campers. I will say that between the people, knowledge and food we continue to come back - mostly because of the people. Every day will start with coffee and fellowship. After that, you will find the day packed with seminars, demonstrations and events. And food, don’t forget the food. We also typically meet in the morning with a group of people that want to walk or bicycle. We typically go anywhere from 5 to 15 miles on the morning bike ride on the Pumpkin Vine trail. Hope this helps.

There is some down time so worth getting out n seeing the area! There is this great driving audio that brings u thru 5 towns with great info on each n what to see and buy! I did it and loved it...will do it again! U can get it at the visitor center or just download it! Well worth doing it to get a great feel for the area!
There is a schedule of great things going on at the rally too!

Early arrival

We are already registered, to arrive on the 8th. If we run ahead of schedule would be able to check in early to our spot. I thinking it would be open hopefully.
Thanks

David there is no guarantee that your site will be open for you if you arrive early. There is another Rally the week prior to ours and they have preference over sites until our Rally is scheduled to begin. If you come in early and your site is still filled the campground can put you into another site BUT "Your will have to move to your assigned site before the Rally begins". There is no switching of assigned sites!

In addition to Rondo's post, there is a early Arrival process we follow.

See it here: https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...ad.php?t=84707

Look forward to seeing you in Goshen.
