We stayed at the Baymont by Wyndham Elkhart in Aug 2020. Total for the night was $59.

There are several Hotel / Motel's in Elkhart, all of which are name-brand, nation wide businesses. Not knowing where you are going when the "work" is being done, if it were me, I'd look for a hotel that was closest to the business I'm patronizing.

We have stayed in Motels / Hotels a few times, mostly because of necessity, not because we wanted to. When we do need one, we always look for a "pet friendly" Hotel as we always have our dogs with us. That is always the deciding factor for us.

Actually, Holiday Inn is usually our pick. Now, if you don't want to be around pets, then don't pick any of these hotels!
