A quick search for torque wrenches will render a plethora of options and price ranges. Higher cost doesn't guarantee higher quality. So how do you select one that will perform as expected? Many on Amazon, for instance, have good ratings in all price ranges.
My Snap-On look alike, a CDI 2503MFRMH 1/2" Drive from AMZN came with a certification card with test values. Came in a nice case and instructions to always zero after use. I trust it because I don't know any better. I had a beam version but could not read the scale while torquing the nut.

I have a couple of them from Harbor freight , not expensive ,and come with a certification of accuracy, but it also says to recalibrate every six months for continued accuracy. So anyone that has a torque wrench ,and has been using it , you are just hoping at some point that its fairly accurate with out having it calibrated .

Do I care if it off a few lbs., no. If I was torquing down head bolts or something like that ,then yes I would want a good calibrated torque wrench . For wheels not too concerned . Been using the same torque wrench for years . What I have noticed is once I have torqued them , and go back to retorque to just check them, I have very seldom ever seen the lug nut move before it clicks. I just have to assume the lug bolts are staying put at that point, not having a recalibrated torque wrench.

I always go around my lugs twice. it may be time to replace my lug nuts as they are old. You shouldn't let your nuts get old.

I checked ours at delivery. Virtually none were tightened to spec.

I keep my old Craftsman beam torque wrench in plain sight all the time and check lugs frequently.

We were following a 5er that lost a right rear in NorCal on 101 right along the coast. Tire climbed the rocks came down in the opposite lane and rolled over the side into the ocean. Could have been deadly if the timing had been different.

Have you checked the remaining wheels? Maybe your professional missed a wheel-----or maybe all of them.
