Inverter Light Colors - Help!

What color are your inverter lights when you are connected to shore power vs. when you are using the inverter while traveling? We have a 2016 3791rd and I'm going round and round with our dealer's service department. I swear the lights were green when we were hooked up to the truck and had the inverter on. Suddenly the light is yellow and my refrigerator doesn't seem to hold the temperature. They are saying this is normal operation. Any insight would be great to have.

Here are the meanings of the status LED lights from the Magnum Inverter Owners Manual (attached) on page 20.

The Status indicator on the front panel may light green, amber, or red to indicate the inverter’s status. When the status indicator lights:
• Green – the inverter is operating normally.
• Amber – a warning has been detected. The inverter will shut down at any time. Check the error code on the digital display.
• Red – an error has been detected and the unit has shut down. Check the error code on the digital display.

When the status indicator lights amber or red, use the digital display and the troubleshooting tables in Section 4.0 of the Owners Manual to resolve the issue.

WF-5100 series

Yellow LED - indicates battery back up status.
Green LED - indicates AC input status.
Red LED - indicates inverter failure.

I looked at the two postings above. Are you saying the charge controller for solar? or an actual inverter that takes 12V from the battery and supplies household 120V to appliances? How many watts? Which brand? Can you identify and post a google link such as an image search below?

It will be helpfull. I can't imagine anything other than green if all is normal. But there is lots to consider, Too much load? Weak battery, Faulty inverter, or miss wired and drawing current while also trying to replenish the supply through the DC whole house converter. There are so many symptoms and so little information to go on.
We can try to help with details.

Check your manual. If you don't have one, download one from the internet...you'll need it

Yes, you are correct, It really depends on the model of Inverter the OP has. As it was not specified in the original question I posted what I have in my trailer, but the manufacture could have changed the model of Inverters they use.
