Washer Shaking Entire Trailer

Hi folks,

We're full timing in a 2017 3721RL and could use some advice on reducing the shaking produced by our washing machine. The Ariston washer (and dryer) are side by side in the laundry/bedroom slide, and the trailer shakes a lot during the spin cycle. We placed Kellett vibration pads under the feet and that reduced the shaking by 60%. The laundry/bedroom slide is cable/chain and about 6' off the ground.

Is there an economical way to further reduce the shaking?

We have the 3721 and have never considered the rv shaking as anything but a normal rv thing.

Our previous 3610 model had the washer in the kitchen area and we experienced the same thing.

We will take a look at those pads though if it might reduce the effect a bit.

Thanks

You may be able to reduce the shaking if you have blocks under your jacks so they aren't extended as far as they would be without the blocks.

Thanks for the replies. We'll probably try the blocks under the jacks and periodic re-leveling, especially since we're on dirt.

@DarMar, we think the vibration pads were worth the $40. The pendant light over our kitchen island was shaking as much as the chair in this scene, https://youtu.be/scBY3cVyeyA?t=3m23s.
