Moab, UT in November

Hello,

We are planning a trip to Moab, UT over Thanksgiving holidays this November at OK RV Park. We checked historical weather and it appears weather shouldn't be a problem but was wondering, if any of you have stayed in Moab during the tail end of November what was your weather experience?

We will be traveling up the 15 from Southern California. Any words of wisdom on the best route into Moab?

Thanks for your time and any info you can provide!

Sue

Last September we came up I-15 to Utah 20 and went across, but we were visiting Bryce Canyon before going on over to Moab. We took Utah 12 and found it one of the most beautiful drives we have ever enjoyed. We stayed in Torry and visited Canyonlands Park before going on to Moab. We were towing our 34' fifth-wheel over all these routes.

Thanks padredw! It appears we will go up the 15 to 70 then south on 191 for about 35 miles. The roads look good on Maquest.

I wonder if snow is a big possibility. We might have to change our plans and wait until we have a chance to vacation at a better time of the year. Utah 12 sounds absolutely beautiful!

We have been to Bryce and Zion and just loved it! I am dying to see Arches.

Retirement and full timing cannot come quick enough so we can be free to choose when and where we go!

Sue

Yes, that would be the route to take if you are going directly to Moab.

Have a great time. I can't help about the weather after September (It was plenty warm then!)
