Heater thermostat

I have the thermostat that is run by a remote. Is there any way to change it out and go with the regular thermostat that you adjust by setting the little lever, in other words go back to the manual thermostat??

There is a huge thread on this subject that you should be able to find using the search function. The short answer is yes, but only with the Dometic "Comfort Control Center". This is the system used in current models (unless they have changed again recently). The change over involves replacing both the main control circuit board in the air conditioner, and the wall unit. It is not hard to do, and at one time Dometic would provide the parts at no charge, but you had to go through a dealer to get them. Many of us have made this change. Good luck.

Could someone please provide the link to the discussion on the thermostat upgrade. I have searched extensively and cannot find it.

Thanks
Gary

If you contact Dometic with your problems, they are willing to more than help you switch over your thermostat.
