OUCH!!

This really hurts! I was in an accident last night on the way home from work, and unfortunately, was driving the truck. Shari & I usually drive together in our car, but I knew I'd be working late so drove alone. Anyway, the passenger side took the hit, and while it's certainly repairable, it means no trip over Labor Day weekend, and maybe not even the mid-September trip we had planned with our Good Sam chapter. The only good part is that there were no injuries in either vehicle.

Sorry about the truck Bill. So glad you weren't hurt. I know it really is a hassle getting body repair done, and done right. Hang in there you will be back on the road in no time.

Sorry to hear about the boo boo to the truck but so glad you weren't hurt. Lifes little problems seems to pop up all the time. We went down to get the running boards installed this morning (we've waited a week for them) and they weren't there. Hope your truck gets fixed okay.
Happy trails...............

Glad to hear that no one got hurt except for your feelings toward your truck and camping.

Sorry to hear about the accident but glad to hear no one was hurt. They make new vehicles every day but you can't replace a life.

On the liter side, have you noticed how many members dive white vehicles.

Like everyone says the important thing is no one was hurt. Glad to hear you are ok and pretty soon your truck will be back on the road looking brand new.

Happy to hear no one was hurt. Frustrating when something like that happens, but I'm sure you'll be back on the road soon.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I stayed home from work on Tuesday, not because I was hurting (physically), but because I couldn't get to sleep Monday night and was exhausted. Shari insisted I stay home, so for once I listened. After a nice quiet day home with just the loyal pooch, I was feeling a lot better. AAA Insurance has already been to the repair shop to check out the damage, I'll know on Thursday how long the truck will be in the shop (then probably add 1 week).
Thanks again for the good wishes. (and white does seem to be leading color!)

I'm glad to hear neither of you were injured. That's the most important thing. Loss of the truck for awhile is a blow, but it can be repaired, although it causes an inconvenience.
