Okay since this topic kind of got brought back to life and I'm too tired tonight to do any more cleaning closets, I did a spreadsheet to find the average age. This is from only those responding to this thread. The average age of those responding is 56.3. For males 56.5 and for females 56.1. Even though most of the males are older than the females the average is close because we have 2 singles males who are very, very young.
Happy trails......................

Sue, since you are doing this in a spreadsheet and probably have easy access to the Functions, do you know the median age, the age at which half are older and half are younger? Thanks.

Hmm... I figured median age is how old you had to be before you could stand in the middle of the street......
Kevin and I are approx. 41... I just turned... he will in three weeks..
4 kids.. 22-12.. two Grandkids now..
2 dogs.. (down to one cat.. Winston off loaded us and went to live with our daughter of the big wide open cat box.)

Cindy and I are 42. She is the "older and wiser" one of the team.
1 daughter (20) and married. Going to school to become a nurse. Working with mom at a nursing home.
1 son (17) and in high school. Want a job in drafting. Hopefully no grandchildren till all schooling is done by the kids.

I think the easy way to see an average is to go look at the birthday list and the one underneeth it. It says it prity good there birth date and age.
