Shower leaking

I have a sprinter and was told by a friend that owns a montana that they are similar. The problem I have is that the shower is leasking. The dealer has tried to repair more than 5 times and it is still leaking. I suggested that they remove it and reinstall but they don't seem to want to. Is there someone at the mfg. that could take care of this for me. This is one of many problems I have had.

Thanks
David

try looking at the base. (if yours is like ours) we have the base with hot and cold knobs and the screw on shower hose with head. alot of times, it leaks around the base. we had to remove the base completely and put plumbers putty around the base and reattach.it stopped immediately! when it did leak, it was small amounts at a time. also if the shower head is loose check and tighten, but more than likely it's the first one I mentioned.

Welcome aboard, David! Can you tell us more about the leak? Is it leaking around the faucet? Or is it leaking around the base and out onto the floor? Or is it leaking into the basement storage area?

As for Sprinter and Montana being similar I'm not sure what your friend was referring to. I don't think construction detail is the same but some components, like shower stalls and faucets, might be similar. If you can tell us more about the leak we'll try to help you.

Mine was leaking at the pan, the water would travel up and over the lip an go down into the basement. where the shower enclosure over laps the pan. I ended up putting a flexable sylicone and I sealed it with that, it solved my problem.

David my BIL has a sprinter and has had no problems with his shower but has had a big problem with the toliet stinking. They have tried everything and still it stinks. Little help also from dealer. They also have had it in for the floor in the bedroom. It seems that it bulged up and you can feel it when you walk on it, it is on both sides of the bed. It is in w/the dealer now for the 2nd time. I would call Keystone and see if they can help you.
