Changing 50A to 80A on Level up
Going to remove the 50A breaker and install a pair of 40A in the ckt to the motor.
Will remove ground wire on battery and have disconnect switch off.
When re-connected is there anything that needs to be done or should the level up system resume it's normal operation.
Thanks Jim

One thing you might consider. Keystone installed on 80amp breaker in our rig under warranty and we haven't had a single problem three years later.

The system will work just fine, doesn't lose any memory or function with a battery disconnected. I replaced our 40 amp auto breaker with the 80 amp manual breaker last year, and haven't touched it since. Just like with any battery removal and replacement, disconnect the ground to the frame first, and when hooking things back up, that same ground gets connected last. Just be safe, wear safety goggles, remove rings and any other jewelry before working on the batteries, and verify how things are hooked up before, so you can put it all back the same way.

Thanks Guys. I am not having a problem, just getting ahead of a possible problem.
My concern was would the system need to be "reset" after a loss of battery power.

After experiencing the slide stall with the breaker tripping and re-setting, I jumped on MOC and once again, found the info we needed. As my hero has an electrical background, it didn't take him long to identify and replace the breaker. Upon inspection, he also noticed that the factory crimp on the load side of the breaker was loose. The loose connection was bad enough to pull the wire. This could have accelerated the wearing of the breaker contacts. All connections have been checked, tightened and re crimped where needed.
