Don on my Chevy I can get my hand inside to remove the Pressure Pro sensor. I also use the 2.5" extension to be able to mount the PP sensor. And the wheels are mounted 180 degrees. GBY...

I have a 2005 F-350 w/ duals. I too tried to get the stems 180 apart. You can't. The 8 lug aluminum wheels have 5 holes in them. The stems won't go 180 degrees and the inner stem still be accessible. To check the tire pressure, I use a truckers tire guage. Bill

My steel wheels and chrome wheel covers have 4 holes in them and 8 lug nut holes plus a smaller hole which accommodates the steel stud that determines how the wheels are matched- the result is the valve stems are opposite one another at all times- the 4 openings are too small to reach a hand through- valve extenders have been a time saver for me and I would not be without them- just mho- Don

We have the 08 F-350 dually with the 5 hole rim. The stems are not 180 apart but they are in different holes and that is what matters..

Maybe not exactly 180 but something between 160 to 180. But they are off set so you can put air in without removing the tire. Don't know about the Fords just own GM Trucks. GBY....

Advanced auto sells valve stem caps that makes it possible to check the air pressure without removing them. Has anybody tried them? They are $5.00 for a pack of 4.

Not very practical with rear duals -- valve stems are on the inside of the rims as mounted so you can't see them -- as for reliability I've seen several on auto's recently but not on trailers/TVs. Ozz had some long ago that he posted about and used, you might PM him about them.
