Don and Georgia,

Glad the trip worked out! Wow! You even got to see some whales! Very nice.

If you haven't taken the trip up to Loon Lake then put it on your list of things to do. It is a pleasant little drive and the lake is really beautiful especially this time of year. Many of the trees are just starting to show their fall colors. There is a lodge on up the road about 2 miles or so and it does have a restaurant. But next time we'd drive back down to Reedsport for eats. You might like to see their RV Park. Part of it is on the lake side and part directly across the road. It actually is a pretty nice park with relatively large grassy sites. This would be the time of year to go since the park was almost empty. I'll bet during the summer it is packed!

We certainly enjoyed having you folks drop by and are happy to hear you enjoyed your Shore Acres visit. Have a great and enjoyable vacation and trip home.

Dennis and Mary Kay
