FF does not work, any suggestions

We, and our friends, both have these Fans but they don't work. It has not worked since day two unless we get up on a chair and fool around with the controls. Have any of you had problems with these fans, and if so, what did you do about them?

Call Fantastic Fan, 800-521-0298. If parts are needed they will send them to you right away at no charge. If you are the original owner, you have a lifetime warranty--great company!

Probably the gaskets - we had ours replaced - occassionally if the Tana sits a while - they will stick - we try to remember to lubricate the gasket if that is going to be the case - just a little bit of vaseline helps.

They have impeccable customer service. They can probably talk you through it on the phone... did us!

Ditto. Calling them brings great rewards. Sometimes the microswitch that engages when you open the vent is stuck. One time, a couple years ago, I went up on the roof and worked the switch by hand several times and it has worked great since.

Call the company by all means! Thery are the greatest,!! I couldn't get my FF to open, called them and they sent a new gasket, the glue to put it on with and very easy instructions.
They cover their products 100+ percent
