closet shelves

2014 Montana HC 305 RL 2 or 3 nice size shelves on each side of front closet not usable when moving because there is nothing to keep items from falling off. Any good, easy ideas to keep things in place?

Same problem with our Pantry. Open the door, food fell on the floor. Dumb. Picked up some 90 degree corner trim (wood), stained to match the rest of shelving, and mounted flush at the end of each shelf. Problem solved.

We just use tension rods to keep stuff in places like that. For pantry and normal shelves you can get them from Amazon or any camping store. For bigger areas you just get a cheap tension curtain rod from Walmart. To keep things from bouncing up and down you can use a partially inflated beach ball.

We had a 2014 Montana High Country 305RL and to keep the things on the shelf in place suggest installing a cargo net or straps. Do an internet search on "rv shelf strap images" and you will see lots of ideas.
