LUCK, used up on this one

We bought our Montana used, the tires looked good, as for as tread, so didn’t inspect them (China bombs, planned to replace after we get to a 1 month stop during our trip, a little over 3,000 miles). After about 1,000 miles into our trip, I noticed the right front tire wearing on the outside tread. After 2,000 miles it was really wearing down from the outside in. After a little over 3,000 miles we arrived at a destination where we would be for just over a month. I was thinking a bad wheel bearing because the tire on the opposite side of the axle was OK. Pulled the wheel and found the bearings were recently greased and all ok, also, found the breaks were new and the wet bolts were recently upgraded. I inspected the other tires and found one with two bubbles from broken steel belts, and one with cracks. So, 3 tires were about to blow. Called Morryde, after sending measurements and other info they requested, they advised that alignment was within tolerances and the tire was bad (cap about to separate). Walmart didn’t have the Sailun in stock. Big-O-Tires had the Sailun S637 235/85R16 G 132/127L in stock and would beat the Walmart price of $130.00. Even though these tires are 1 inch larger, they are running great. By the way, my 2015 has not had any other issues.

Welcoem to the forum! Many have not been as lucky as you on the tire issue. Remember age is the main issue on tires, once you have good ones, and trying to get more than 5 years out of a tire is risky.
