Filon Doors on Gelcoat Models

We ordered a Gelcoat model 3400RL and they almost got it right. It was almost a deal breaker when the unit came in and it had filon doors on the storage compartments. I took this up with the factory on my last visit and got the unsatisfactory response of "you can order those through your dealer", well excuse the H out of me, I thought the $2000 up charge I paid for gelcoat covered this very item. As far as I am concerned I do not have a gelcoat model with the every color changing non-gelcoat doors.

Folks, either explain this fully in your literature or provide what the customer is paying for. Dealer coat on this is in excess of $600.00 installed.

It is doubtful that anyone from keystone reads this thread.Go to the keystone web page, Montana site , click on "send us your ideas" they do read that.

We ran into the same issue. In fact, Keystone refused to sell us the gel coat doors. This may change with the Big Sky having gel coat doors, or at least it may make them available for order. Nappannee will plain not sell them to a private party.

I was reasonably disturbed about this, but after receiving delivery I noted the sides of the slides are not gelcoat either, just the face of the slide.
