Hey everyone,
I've been away at Custer state park and the black hills this weekend so I've been away form the Monty and my computer. I agree that it is nearly impossible to completely seal the belly up. I saw many gaps and holes near the slideout mechanisms, wire areas, spare tire frame, and rear stabilizer jacks. I also agree with Steve that you need some ventilation to allow air from the furnace into the underbelly. Hopefully this weekend I can quit going on mini-vacations and finish my insulating project. I got a lot of great ideas from all of you and it is now up to me to bring all these ideas together to get great results.
Dennis, I love the idea about the foam board in the basement cieling area. I am going to do that next weekend as well. I am also going to put reflectix (astro foil) on the insides of the basement doors for extra thickness and insulation.
