SuperGlide Trailer Plate Installation????

Question??
On the Lippert pin box plate, did you have to add to the pin plate to intall the Superglide trailer plate.
Or were you able to get enought bolts installed.
Thanks for any responses.

What if they welded the plate to the pin box, and you change the hitch, can you use another style hitch??
Thanks

I will have it un-welded and cleaned up. I see no problem with welds.

I took the plate and attached it with clamps to the hitch box.
I can get in the required 10 bolts.
I am going to drill and tap the holes so were it will be close to getting on nuts I won't have to worry. Also, lock-tite the bolts/screws
In thinking what you said about welding, after bolting on, I am going to take it to the shop and just spot weld the plate also.
That should work, so if I ever have to take the plate off, I just have to grind the spot welds.
That will work.
Thanks

The dealer that installed my SuperGlide also welded the plate to our kingpin.

Welded. If necessary, we'll have it "un-welded".
