UPDATE: Help return my Montana--SMILES
Today, I was supposed to call Bish's to set up a tentative pickup date for our long-gone Montana, but Cindy, the Bish's service rep, beat me to the punch. I had the phone in my hand to make that call when she called me! She remembered that we'd agree to touch base today or tomorrow and nail down a pickup date.
Everything on our Montana is fixed and ready for inspection, including a couple of things Bish's discovered that we'd missed, one being that it wasn't just the TV remote that didn't work, it was the TV, remote, and sound system doing a "now it works, now it doesn't." Bish's just replaced everything for us.
We'd love to pick up the trailer this weekend, but because it's being de-winterized for a final pressure check, and because our area is having single-digit temperatures at night again, with lots of snow, we won't go get the Monty until this snow/below-freezing stuff moves out. Also, I can't take off of work easily until the 19th or 20th, so we may have to wait until then, but that's ok because the first thing Cindy said is that "Your Montana is READY!" We believe it is, too.
Now, as soon as I can find my Keystone contact's phone number, I'm calling her to give the GOOD report from Bish's. I may complain, when necessary, but I also follow up with compliments when deserved. I most definitely have seen a 100% turnaround with the service department at Bish's after Cindy stepped in there. She is pleasant, efficient, and not afraid to tell you if there's something you ask about for which she has no answer. She says, "I don't know, but I will find out and get right back to you." She does, too! Keystone, too, deserves a compliment, especially the customer rep who's worked with us. She, too, is always pleasant and efficient.
We are also extremely grateful and thankful for you anonymous MOC angels who have stepped in to help us with this situation. Sometimes having the right network in place is exactly what's needed to get things done. We appreciate you behind-the-scenes folks, whoever you are.
My next and probably last post in this rather lengthy saga will be at the end of the month, when our Montana should be back home with us and ready to roll!

Out of curiosity, did they (Bish's or Keystone) agree to extend the warranty to cover the time they had the rig?. But regardless, it sounds like it is getting close to the time to say "Let's go camping!!!!" Provided Spring ever get's here.

Bingo, I forgot to ask Cindy about that today, but I will ask when I talk to Keystone tomorrow. Duh. Thanks for the reminder.

I have an update posted on the General Announcements thread! Our Montana isn't home, but it is ready. We saw it with our own eyes this weekend. However, we had 3 feet of snow on the ground when we left to get it, with another storm on the way, so we left the rig at Bish's until Good Friday. We learned today that with 2 hours of going through Monida Pass on I-15 on our way home, the road was closed because of blowing snow and icy conditions. Some things just work out they way they're supposed to work out, I'm sure. Also, we did get another foot of snow while we were gone, so getting the trailer onto our property and into its parking space would have been impossible. The drifts are now 3 - 4 feet deep in that area.
Check out the update on that General Announcements thread.
