Let Leopard Lie
Just a heads up... there have been various reports of EVDO devices and/or their software connection managers that have stopped working after an upgrade or clean install of Mac OSX 10.5 aka "Leopard".
Its probably in everyone's best interest to let this play out for a week or two and see what the Mac+EVDO Experts at 3GStore conclude.

Alex, this issue does not effect me, but I for one thank you for keeping us posted on these "little" things that give us headaches.
Thanks again.

I recently had to download drivers for Mac from Verizon. I noticed that there is a different driver for Leopard.

A very large cat with spots, and a long tail .
Sorry Army Guy, I had to do it.
Actually I'm in the dark here too.

Leopard is the latest release of the Mac operating system Generally, it is awesome .. BUT, some third party software has not kept up. In particular, Launch2net, used to interface some aircards, hangs up. The nova media website says they will have it fixed by mid November (like next week). What bothers me is the beta version of leopard has been out for 6 months and the pre release for several weeks. I think Nova Media dropped the ball -- IMHO.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I, also, have a Mac but am running OS 10.3.9. Everything works fine with our Verizon air card. I'm a firm believer in "if it's not broken why fix it?"

Hey,
Good to see some other MACers here on the MOC. I am a new Mac user. I am still in the basic learning curve and often have no idea what I'm doing.
Is anyone using iPhoto and MS Word for the Mac? If so do you know how to put a pic from iPhoto into Word? I cannot figure out how to do it and the help feature is less than intuitive! Thanks for any ideas.

Dennis,
Just export the picture from iphoto to the desk top. Then use the insert command in Word to import the file. Word cannot handle the big header on the iphoto file. The header is truncated when the file is sent to the Desktop.

Dave and Victoria,
Thanks. I knew it had to be something simple. I appreciate your input and will give this process a try.
