well, we finally upgraded

Hello everyone, after several years and looking at several brands and models, we went to a show over the weekend and put a purchased the new 3700LK model. We go this Saturday submit the order, We're going with different colors and a few other options that the one the dealer had at the show didn't have. This will be our first fiver but not our first camper.

Anything I need to know about the Montana line? Our other pick was the Jayco Pinnacle.

Feeling pretty stoked and that 6-8 weeks is going to take forever.

I poked around for the past year or so, reading posts both good and bad, talked to owners we ran into at the CG's, etc. it has been very helpful in our choice and we've noticed that most montana owners are very friendly and helpful overall.

Ah yes, the dreaded wait time when you order but at least you get the camper and options you want.
Congrats and enjoy!

agreed, though the only difference in the one the dealer actually has and the one we're ordering is slide toppers, he doesn't have them, we want them, and per the dealer, it's about a 3k savings to get them from the factory compared to getting them installed afterwards by the dealer, so it's a no brainier, so we'll wait for it. We may do one last trip in our travel trailer for old time sake while we wait.

Since this is our first Fiver, what is the "must haves"?

I have, level blocks, wheel chocks, and X-Chock I know have to get a new sewer hose (2 actually) with a Y. The model we're getting has 2 drains, 1 for the kitchen and 1 for the front bathroom. Are there any other must haves that I'll need to get?

I have that as well from the TT, plus 2 fresh water hoses, one for the TT and one for the black tank flush, and a Y connector, and the water filter

50 Amp Surge protector,

Since you will have a "sewer System 2 5' long sewer hoses, 1 10' sewer hose. and enough sewer hose go go from one sewer outlet to another. yes it sounds like a lot but the first couple of times you set up you will say yup.
Clear sewer section

Blade type battery disconnect
50 Amp extension cord
30 amp male to 50 amp female dogbone adaptor
tools to change a tire, including getting it off the ground
water pressure regulator

TPMS

Congratulations on the new rig. Hope it will serve your needs well. Take the wait time to compile your PDI list/plan as well as to compile any upgrades you plan to install. This forum has a ton of useful information as well as very knowledgeable folks regarding the Montana brand.

Currently we plug in our TT into our house with the adapter, do they make an adapter for fiver to plug into my house as well? I really don't want to run it off of my generator when loading and unloading for trips.

$3K ??? Even if a FREE OPTION that is a stretch. I has CW install 4 toppers on my slides and cost was less than $2200.

I may have worded that wrong, the dealer wants 2800 to install them, compared to 1400 to get installed at the factory for 4 slides.
