Hiya. : ) New here

Hi - not an RV owner yet but, after 5 - 6 years of LOTS of research, thought, planning, and so forth, my husband and I plan on purchasing a 2018 Montana 3790RD along with a big honkin’ something-or-other diesel dually - Chevy, GMC, or Ford - both later this year likely, in order to begin full-timing starting 2019 after his early retirement, selling our house, most of our possessions, etc. Started down-sizing already - boy, that’s an exhaustive process! - but, I figure starting a year ahead will give reasonable time to donate-sell-give away most everything we have, and then leave time for a good spruce up of our 115-yr-old domicile.

Anyhow, it was suggested to me to sign up for forums that support the brand of RV we plan on purchasing so, here we are. : ) We are brand-spankin new to RVing though not to camping (tent and a motorcycle pop-up pulled behind a beautiful 2007 Goldwing). We plan on this RV to be our only one - we don’t want to start smaller and work up, because we aren’t going to finance - don’t want big debt going into retirement. So, though that is a great idea to introduce yourself into RVing, that’s not our plan. Plus, not interested in used rigs (we’ve already considered that, got input back and forth in other forums we’re members of, and decided new was most suited for our needs). My husband is super handy as well so, we likely won’t freak too much at what everyone says to expect about fixes connected with new rigs.

So, that’s our synopsized story - I know we’ll get lots of good info from a great resource, here! Thanks!!
