We replaced our Winegard bat wing with the King Jack. We use the model that went on the bat wing mast. Get many more channels in a lot of the places where we have camped with both style antennas. For those stations on the fringe aiming the King Jack is more critical than the bat wing. For us the King Jack has been a good upgrade.

King Jack works for us. Hello from an ex Rancho Cordovan!

We have had both. The bat wing i think pulls more channels, but you cant forget the lower it. the jack is compact less roof space and can be left in any position.

Our camping buddies have the bat wing and have always been able to pull more channels than our King Jack. When I can't get any signal at all they can sometimes pull in a few channels.

I should add that mine is the batwing replacement that attaches to the crank up antenna.
