We've stayed several times at Sunny Acres RV Park in Las Cruces. Even though the GPS will tell you that you need to make a u-turn to get into the driveway when coming from the interstate, there is really a turn pocket that brings you right into the driveway. Nice people, not an RV Resort, but perfect for an overnight or two. Just watch the speed bumps in the driveway.

Every time we come thru there, and we will again in April, we stop here: http://www.siestarvpark.com You can walk to historic La Mesilla and also take in Las Cruces. Be sure and eat at La Posta and if you're there on a Saturday go to downtown Las Cruses and take in the farmer's market. 5-6 blocks of main street are closed off and you can buy anything from the many vendors.

Coachlight motel. Easy on and off the freeway. Passport America rate, cable and pull thru.

By Pass around El Paso, Texas. If you are coming eastbound on I 10 here's the best way to get around El Paso. Sharon Del Rosario, former solo Montana owner gave us this route from Carlsbad: I assume you'll be coming into El Paso from US 180. Take Loop 375 north (right turn). Turn right (north) on US-54. Exit on MLK Jr Blvd (FM-3255) going north. When you enter NM the road becomes NM-213. Turn left (west) on Ohara Rd (NM-404). This will take you over a very gentle hill to I-10 entering at exit #162 slightly north of Anthony, NM.

No need to bypass El Paso unless they haven't got the bridge fixed, but it's supposed to be fixed soon. A train took out some supports on the I-10 bridge and things are down to one or two lanes. At rush hour that's not enough.
