We decided to replace the 19" 50 lb. TV that came with our unit with a smaller lighter digital TV. Easier said than done.
Our Big Sky is the same floor plan as the 3400. The bedroom TV is mounted inside the top of the chest of drawers in the corner. Not an easy corner to work in and Keystone went out of their way to make it almost impossible to remove.
For starters, the door doesn't swivel open far enough to do anything so we had to saw and remove a piece of wood mounted on the base of the swivel to the base of the cabinet. It's too prevent the door from swinging too far and it did it's job
That allowed us to open the door. Next came removing a screw about 6" inches long that came up through the bottom of the set.
Nothing else was obvious and yet the corner of the TV closest to the door hinge wouldn't budge. After about 15 minutes of trying to figure it out my husband started twisting and torquing the set. Finally he heard something crack and out came the TV. Believe it or not, Keystone had drilled a hole through the side of the set (where there shouldn't be any
and used another 6" inch screw which originated in the side piece of particle board. There's no way you can see any of this much less get to it to remove it.
We are really glad to have a digital TV that only weighs bout 14 lbs and takes up about 10". I can hardly wait to fill up all that extra room behind it
