Update on solar installation...

We have been tweaking our solar system for about a month now and have found the system is working quite well at this point in time. For the past few days we have been using them for power in Quartzsite.. Every once and a while I will look at our remote control station in our trailer to see how many amps we are producing. The highest amps flowing to the batterys that I have seen so far is 62 amps/700+ watts. If you subtract the power we are using at the same we still are running about 52 amps to the positive which I think is quite good for not having the panels tilted. At least while sitting here I can not see much of anything higher then 6' so nothing is blocking the panels.. Now I need a wind turbine........

Sounds like enough power for two rigs. Enjoy the Q.

That's pretty good, now if you can just get enough pnels to use reflected light from the moon you could generate all night also[

Dick, now that's a great idea.... All I can get is 2.4 volts at night and that puts the panels in the rest mode... But all in all I am happy with Midnight Solar and Magnum....

Les,

Please post some picture of your Wind machine when you have it setup, I would love to see it.
