Unless you're looking for a pool, clubhouse and activities and are willing to pay for those things, consider renting a large fully serviced lot in the Foothills area. Average cost is about $300-$350 a month. About half of what you'll pay in a park. You are however 11 miles east of the "downtown" area but still in a built-up residential community.

But remember with just a lot rental you are missing the biggest part of RVing....meeting other RVers and visiting.....lots of parks in the Yuma are from basic to grand. When are you going and how long are you staying in the area.

We enjoyed Westwind. Ken and the guys enjoyed the golf course. Everyone was very friendly. The grounds are beautiful.

I was far enough away from the train noise. Wherever you head, be aware of the train tracks. Last year we stayed nearer the tracks where we heard and felt the trains all night long!!!

If you're an Escapee, KOFA is a nice park.

If you like boondocking, consider Senator Wash. $180 for the season (Oct to mid April). Water fills, dump stations. Of course, you're about 20 miles north of Yuma. We been to Senator Wash for 6 weeks at a time the last two years. Lots to do here without being on top of your neighbor.
Dark skies, quiet.
