Transfer switch question

Hi All, I have a Onan 5.5 lp gen set, When I start the second AC unit the power shuts off and I hear a popping noise in the basement which I assume is the transfer switch. The breakers are not tripped in the breaker box or on the gen set. I can run both AC units when connected to shore power with no problems. Anyone else had this issue ?

No problem with mine, it will run both AC units. I suggest you do not run the generator again until you have it checked out. Popping sounds and power shutting off does not sound good; might start a fire.

Mine runs both check under gen set cover to make sure the 20 amp or 30 amp breakers are not tripped.

All breakers are fine , It sounds like the transfer switch is opening the contacts when starting the second AC.
