Slide rollers?

A friend of ours is going to purchase and install slide rollers for the kitchen and dining slides. The bedroom slides already have rollers. All the slides have cables. His trailer is exactly like ours (same model and year).

Does anyone have an opinion on whether this would be a good idea or a waste of money?

Just curious - is he replacing roller for roller? Or adding more rollers?
What went wrong with the old rollers?

When our High Country was new, the dealer installed rollers under warranty to fix some of the issues we were having with balky slides. It did help.

There were no slide rollers on the two slides, the trailers come like that. He wants to install them.

The referenced J-36 rollers may possibly raise the slides too high when closed (I have an unused set of 10) and are not adjustable for height. The Lippert J-1 rollers are 12 bucks less at Amazon and are adjustable and 6 will be installed on our long living room slide as soon as I can dig the trailer out of the snowbank it's in presently

One of or members, Chuck, wrote this Darco repair procedure. He also found using the UHMW material makes the slide move easier and more smoothly.

Darco repair by Chuck. This is one of the best repairs I've seen.
