Hydraulic Slide Gears

I was checking things out under my hydraulic slides (2) yesterday and noticed that the gears and gear tracks (2 on each slide) do not mesh completely; all four of them. I suspect it has been like this from day one. Two of them mesh about 65% and the other two about 50%.

Has anyone else noticed this and/or think that it's a problem? If so, is it adjustable?
