Heated Rugs/Mats

Just wondering if anyone has tried using a heated carpet, we use our camper through the winter & the 381 has a cold kitchen. I guess with the kitchen being a couple feet lower the floor is always colder & my wife would really like it warmer. I have been looking at some under carpet warmers or thinking of adding radiant heat below the floor, warmzone has some interesting low voltage solutions. I wish we could just head to a warmer climate but that's a few years away. Just curious if anyone has dealt with this & found a good solution, I like the rug buddy a 5 x 7 under carpet mat for about 250$ might be worth a try.

Just add an electric heater.

Have you tried something like this? Reasonably priced and doesn't require any installation.

sameo sameo

On our 3791 I found this really annoying on cold mornings making breakfast. Went ahead and put one of these in, 1500 watt toe kick heater, under the cabinet by the electric panel with thermostat on the wall. Blows heated air across floor and solved the problem. Socks work for 5 mins then the cold from the floor comes through.
Cheap enough if your handy or you can pay Rocket Scientist prices to an Electrician if your not or make the wife pay for it. About $150.00.

I have those and it doesn't really work for me in the long run. Nice when I'm in my chair however.

That's a great idea. I wonder if it would fit at the bottom of the cabinet behind the recliners as well. We also have a 3791 and it would be easy enough to mount under the cabinet door closest to the outside wall.
