Cold weather campng?
Not sure if this is the right section, but I couldn't think of a better one.
We're work camping in Coffeyville, KS during Nov. and Dec., is the Actic insulation package sufficient for temps down in the single digits for extended periods?
Some are saying we will need to skirt the belly, but they are in SOBs that may or may not be insulated as well. We have camped in the 20's at night lots of times and never had a problem even when not using the gas heater. Oh yeah, the water hose froze but I'm taking heat tape and insulation for that.
We know we will have to run the gas furnace to keep the basement/tank areas warm unless I can figure out how to turn on just the fan from the thermostat. Or I can always wire a hot switch for the fan only so we can circulate the air from electric heaters.
Thanks in advance, you all have always been great help.
