TPMS saved me but now have tire wear
I pulled on to I-10 and went about 1 mile when the alarm went off. Pressure already at 47, so looked up and an exit was coming. Looked down and it was 37 and back up and just passed the exit -darn. Anyway pulled off with about 2 feet between trailer and white side line on pavement. Tire was still slightly inflated. So was happy about that.
Next problem. When the guy was removing the tire to replace it, he noticed the wear on the inside. The whole inside section (about 1 1/2 inches) was worn almost smooth. Checked the other tire and it too was worn on the inside. Supposedly my dealer rotated tires in October and today is the first trip with it. I went to Alaska last summer on these tires. So if it was worn before rotating, the dealer SHOULD have noticed. So I don't know which side is the culprit.
Finally, what would cause BOTH tires to wear? I know the axles can be bent, but surely not both of them at the same time!!! I did add the morryde wet bolts before leaving last summer, but would certainly notice that amount of wear. Any ideas or suggestions would be appeciated.
Thanks
