3 12 V lights stop working

The 3 12v lights at rear of our 2010 2980RL unit stopped working. All other 12v and 120s work. Is there a breaker box for 12v. Seems no power is going to the 2 side lights on either side of the big rear window and the dome/safety light on the ceiling with switch under one of the side lights. Any clues on where to see why these instruments have no power and others do?

I had a side marker light quit working and found no power at the light. The cause was a connection behind the storage compartment wall near the convenience center. They crimped about 8 wires in one connection and the wire to the marker light was loose. I had to cut all wires and make new connection.

Additional question: read somewhere that a GFCI plug (120v) could also effect part of the 12v system?

GFCI has nothing to do with 12v system on our 2019 2131RL The GFCI powers the bath, kitchen, basement and outside outlet near door. All are 120v. The 12v system is pretty much stand alone, runs off Batteries and is charged by converter.

If the any rear marker lights have on power I would check the area behind the basement wall near the convenience center. They powered all the rear lights on our Rig.

Thanks John and Barbara. I’m assuming “convenience center” means where you pull the valve to dump black water. Not sure where to look for those wires. Sorry I’m dense. Thanks. Tom

In my 2006, and most Montana's I'm familiar with, the 12vdc fuses are located in the same box as the 120vac breakers. There is a red LED that will light if the 12vdc fuse is blown and the circuit is calling for power to the load side. In other words, if a switch is on behind the fuse.

I am not sure which lights at the rear (ceiling, cabinet or sconce) you are having trouble with. A picture of them in context of the rear view would help.
Regardless, Jimcol got you started with where the fuses are located. if no red lights at the fuse panel, check to see if there is power at the switch (they pop out easily).

12v fuses found

Thanks to all who helped me discover how dumb I can be. Just above the breaker box was another box with a cover that said on the outside in hard-to-read gold letters, “Low Voltage Distribution Panel.” Duh! Open the cover and there are fuses (similar to automotive fuses) with a red light above the “blown” one. I switched it out with the 15 amp fuse next to it and eureka, there is light. (See pictures.)

Now. Anyone know where to buy these fuses? Are they off the shelf or some special (most know the MOC password) Keystone Montana version?

Thanks to all.

Commercial off the shelf. Take the blown one and go to an auto parts store or WalMart and get a small package with an assortment of sizes (colors) that match those in your fuse panel. Tape them in a cabinet so you know where to find them the next time this happens.
