Air bags
I just bought a 2022 F350 short bed 4x4 and need help picking airbags. I am pulling a 2022 3121RL. What brand and model would you use? I pull camper every other week.

I went with AirLift 5k on my F350 long bed. Also went with their wireless compressor. I've run with 40 and 50 psi and feel like 50 was better. Definitely more comfortable than just springs. I've since added MORryde IS and pinbox, pretty happy with my setup and ride now - just can't afford to go anywhere

Same set up on my Ram 2500. 50 psi underway and 5 psi empty.

I am using internal jounce - don't remember if Ultimate (I don't have SS air lines, just the plastic).

Been very happy over the years with the Firestone bags, coupled with an Air-Lift wireless compressor. They've never left me down

Airlift 5000 with wireless compressor here. 40psi loaded. Works well for us.

First set was Firestone, Second is Airlift. Both have worked equally well.

I have had Firestone Ride Rite's on my last three trucks, but they didn't offer one for the particular block height on my 2022 F350. I ended up going with the Airlift bags without the internal jounce and am happy with them. You can't go wrong with either brand.

I love my Air Lift 5000 air bags with self-leveling.

To OP - Ram 2500 with Firestone 7500 RideRite.
All: Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I am airing up to 15 psi and have between 35 and 40 psi laden. About what I would have expected. If I put in any more than that the air bags would lift the bed to the truck way to high. Too much "bigger must be better" size air bags? Ram rear coil springs just that stout? I really don't know...

I have the same truck, and trailer, only 2018.
This is my second P/U with the Air Lift bags. I did have my compressor go south a couple months ago due to corrosion from salted roads, but other than that, I LOVE THEM..
My first truck was 14 years old when I sold it. My sone still has it, and the bags are still working for him.

I know you said you ordered AirLift bags. I had them on my last truck. My current truck, 2016 F350, Crewcab, dually, long bed has Timbren’s.
Don’t have air up/down and don’t have to winterize bags.

I have a 2015 RL3100 with a 2020 Ram Megacab (short bed) 3500. I use the airlift 5000 with the onboard compressor. I started with the Airlift 5000 Ultimate (with the jounce stopper). They towed well but back seat riders complained of a very rough ride. My 5000's work fine, run them at 35 PSI and no back seat ride complaints.

I have Airlift with internal jounce on our 2021 F350 long box, eventually will be installing the compressor. They work great!

There is an alcohol solution that truckers use for the air lines on their rigs in freezing weather. I would have to use the same thing for my air bags and lines to keep the moisture in the air that’s in the bags and lines from freezing. You have to unscrew the lines from the bags and pour an ounce or so (forget the exact amount) directly into the bags. PITA due to the location of the air inlet. Living in northeast Ohio, it was a necessity.
Primarily because of that, and price, I switched to Timbren’s for my current truck.
