Folding Ladder
Greetings, just wondering if anyone here has one of the compact double sided folding ladders either 6 or 7 foot? I am looking to replace my aluminum step ladder that we bring along with one that can be stored easily. They are advertised to be sturdy and easy to operate. Any input would be appriciated.

I have carried this ladder in all of my RVs for the past 17 years....same ladder, too. It is great when you need to get a small job done, usually when on the road. However, it is not a ladder that I would use all day doing a RV waxing job. The steps are too small and hurt your feet after an hour or so. It folds up nice and small and fits anywhere.

Bob,
I have the 7 ft one like you show. Very easy to fold and it is sturdy. I bought a 5 1/2 inch square vinyl fence post from Lowes and store it in that, so it is easy to get to.

I have the 7 foot model and carry it in a 6 inch PVC tube mounted behind the front landing gear.

I have the 7' model and it comes in handy. I store it in a square plywood tunnel in the storage bay and stack folding chairs on top of it on edge and am able to remove ladder when easily needed.

I do as NCfisher, great ladder locks in tight, which give it little to no movement.

I have the 7 footer and love it. Originally had the 6 footer but found the combination of that ladder and me were not tall enough to reach high enough for what I wanted.
I put some brackets from the rafters in the basement storage area and store it there, up out of the way. Then just slide it out when needed.
