linoleum under the carpet
Before I purchesed this 3400 RL I said to the sales man, Please have the carpet cleaned. He said it was cleaned yesterday. It looked like a football team walked acrost it with there cleats on. My question is , is there linoleum under all the carpet. If so, has anyone pulled the carpet up? If so , what condition was the linoleum in.??? Was it full of srapel holes if so how did you fix that???

I do not believe there is Lino under the carpet.

Brad, I think you will be surprised. I think the carpet is put down on top of the linoleum, not only in the main part of the coach also in the bedroom. The reason I think this is to protect the plywood part of the floor from any problem that might happen with a water leak. Just my opinion.
I have a friend that has a Terry that is about ten years old and the carpets were in bad shape and he ripped them up for replacement and low and behold the linoleum was wall to wall. He did not replace the carpets.

Ozzie might be able to shed some light on this. They pulled their carpet out to put down some hardwoods.

There was no linoleum under our carpeting. We replaced our linoleum and carpeting with laminate flooring throughout the entire rig even the bath and bedroom. Looks great and we love it!!

when you go on the factory tour you will see that the entire floor has linoleum on it first, then the carpet over that

They must have been short of lino the day they did ours, because the lino didn't cover the entire floor. Of course, ours is a 2005 model so they may have changed how they do things since then.

We pulled up the carpet to put down laminate flooring. The linoleum was in good shape, but it had staples all through it where they had stapled the carpet down.
