What's a great RV park near the Grand Canyon?

Coming from Provo, Utah, what would be a great RV park to explore the Grand Canyon? Of course 50 amp pull thrus would be a must! :-)

For the North Rim, the only RV park that I know of is the Kaibab Camper Village near Jacob Lake. We stayed there and enjoyed it. It is not a resort but a basic RV park with W-E-S. Yes, expect a 45 mile drive (one way) to the North Rim. Hint -- get a map of the Forest Service roads on the North Rim and you can drive about 25 miles to the North Rim--we did it! and it was GREAT. On the South Rim, stay in the Grand Canyon National Park Trailer Village (only one that I know of) with W-E-S that is at the South Rim. It is great because you can get on the bus service at the entrance to the park. It is a close fit in that the sites are close together but it does work. We have a 38 foot 5th wheel with a long bed truck in 2009 when we were there. For both I recommend reservations. We actually walked from the NP Trailer Village to the canyon rim one evening--not that far. We like Ranger programs and staying in the South Rim RV Park will allow time to go to some without having a long drive back to a more distant RV Park. There are dry camping options also but we don't dry camp.

X2 on the post from Tim & Susan. We stayed at both two years ago and our SOB is just over 40'. When we were at the South Rim, the campground was full of Deer and Elk.

What about Zion River Resort in Virgin, Utah? Anybody tried this RV spot out yet?

We stayed at DEMotte National Forest CG outside of the North Rim in June. Loved it but no hookups. Its not to far to get to the North rim.
